This incredibly stunning antique hammered copper pitcher just arrived from France. The kind gentleman we purchased it from a lovely older woman who said it belonged to her grandmother and no doubt it's history goes back even further. The hand hammered finish and the brass brazed seams are evidence of 1800s workmanship, or even 1700s, though we like to be conservative about the estimated age of our antique pieces. It is truly gorgeous, so heavy and unique.
Due to it's age it is no longer watertight, but if you wish to display flowers in it you can easily put a jar of water inside this enormous pitcher. Alternatively, we can get it expertly repaired prior to shipping it to you for an extra fee, in which case it will be fully functional.
We search high and low for the most beautiful and unique antique European copper. If you are looking for something particular, please let us know as we can source many gorgeous and rare items!
Approximately 14" high at its tallest point, 10" wide at the base and has a 6" diameter opening.
