A traditional English pot bellied stockpot that features an iron tubular handle hand cut with iron flange, dovetailed seams down the rear and around the bottom. Impressed with the number "11" on the strap handle on the lid for its size capacity and on the bottom it is marked the "Orb and Cross" for Benham and Froud, its maker. They are one of the most famous metalworkers of England. C. 1850
