An oval tea kettle with a brass and porcelain handle still in tact and a goose neck spout- but perhaps the most eye catching detail is the lid that is embossed with an almost floral design. Really a stunning detail. In the 19th century this feature would have signified wealth. The porcelain handle has a piece broken off underneath that you can see in the images. It does not detract from the beauty of this vintage piece, or affect function. Fully restored for everyday use. The interior has been freshly re-tinned. C. 1850
