About Old World Kitchen: The Short Story

 

Old World Kitchen began as an unlikely idea during a time in our lives when it seemed most impractical to try. Our family dreamed of leaving behind the daily grinder of the modern "American dream" and getting back to what that originally meant. We struck out on the adventure of a lifetime and Old World Kitchen was slowly brought to life. Over the past several years we have applied all of our combined passion and inspiration to our products and brand, making Old World Kitchen a beautiful extension of our lifestyle and values- which is exactly what we want it to be.

Each piece of dreamware we make is hand carved by our family, right on our farm in Virginia. We make our utensils out of fallen hardwoods we salvage from the forest floor. Recently we've been curating a small selection of complementary handmade and vintage items that pair well with our dreamware. Everything we offer is either made in the USA or vintage, and we only offer products that we are personally excited about! We do not have any employees; we are a true cottage industry and operate every aspect of our business right from our home. We are passionate about producing and curating Old World quality goods that will become future heirlooms.
