I Love Spurtles

I love spurtles. It's a great tool in the kitchen. So I was very pleased when I opened the beautiful box from the Polder family. This spurtle is shorter than others and it's an advantage in my books. it sits comfortably in my hand and gives me leverage when I need it. The thin edge is another big benefit. It slips under food and makes turning and flipping an easy task. From the moment you hold the tool in your hands you can feel the high quality and attention to details put into making it. I can't recommend it enough.

The Mary Spurtle has so many uses. It replaced 5 kitchen tools I had before, allowing me to simplify my kitchen and cherish the things that work. If you have any doubts, set them aside. You need this one :)

I find myself using it over my other “spoons”...

I want to let you know the joy I have in using my Mary Spurtle. Since my purchase last October, I find myself using it over my other “spoons” for so many different tasks. When I think, oh I can’t mix with that..oh yes I can! Or I can’t drain with that..oh yes I can! Sauté, stir fry, flip/turn, mix, drain, serve-I just love it!
Most of all, it still makes me smile to think mine was purposely and thoughtfully selected by your Dad just for me with all those “gummy” streaks!

Love this Mary Spurtle

This was my first purchase from Polder's Old World Market and I haven't been disappointed. I use it for mixing dry and wet ingredients when baking and also for eggs when making them. I enjoy it so much I gifted one to each of my 3 daughters and my daughter-in-law.
