To have and to hold from this day forward...
Our dreamware was designed and created to last a lifetime. Here are some tips to help you keep your dreamware in the best possible condition so that you can enjoy it's function and beauty for years to come.
-
Don't allow your utensils to soak in water for long periods of time, {this means no dishwasher}. Regular dish soap will not damage the wood.
-
Do remember that many utensils develop a fuzzy texture after the first washing. It is a natural part of the wood seasoning process and it will go away before you know it. Just keep using them.
-
Do keep our signature spoon butter on hand. Handcrafted from olive oil and beeswax, it is 100% natural and healthy for you, and does a beautiful job of keeping wood conditioned and preserved. You should never condition your utensils when they are damp. Always wait until they are 100% dry before oiling, and don't go overboard oiling utensils that are infrequently used.
-
Do remember that wood naturally darkens when it's exposed to prolonged heat. This is a natural part of the seasoning process for your cooking spoons, but in order to keep the wood color and grain visible and beautiful on your lovely serving spoons, we recommend that you do not use them for cooking on the stove top.

Don't forget that we stand behind our products 100%. If a piece of dreamware from our workshop fails due to a defect in wood or workmanship, please contact us with a picture of the defective utensil and we'll replace it.
Thank you for allowing us to craft for you, and it is our sincere hope that you get a lifetime of enjoyment from your dreamware!
